Vinted Members Express Frustration Regarding Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with similar services.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Changes
Before the change, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she said.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options after backlash from users.
