Faithful to its name, "A Puzzlement" also includes a new environmental puzzle that may eventually shed light on some lingering questions from the main storyline.

Previous Japanese Animation Crossovers

This signifies not the first time the Assassin's Creed franchise has crossed over with popular anime properties. The series previously included a 2020 cross-promotional story connecting Assassin's Creed: Valhalla with Makoto Yukimura's Vinland Saga. Additionally, Valhalla unofficially contained a quest that clearly referenced the popular series One-Punch Man.
